Anemonis – from then to now
Sometimes it happens that small things grow - without anyone has intended to do so.
And that’s how it is concerning Anemonis. What started as an Uni-Project at the Institute of German
philology in the course Queer Studies from Professor Susanne Hochreiter in November 2004,
grew into the last months up to a film. Without any kind of financial support or sponsors.
But for the most part cast with amateurs, only worked with natural light and filmed with a MiniDV camera -
this is the growing-up of this NO-Budget-Film.
Anemonis consists of eight short scenes which deal with one:
queer ways of living. And this in a really varied and in some parts abstract way.
The through the film leading theme is the queerness. Followed - with only one exception - by the love.
